

Brandon Kuether
Founder
With over a decade of experience in the tennis industry, Brandon has established himself as a distinguished leader and passionate advocate for the sport. His contributions include active involvement with USTA Northern, where he has served on various committees, as well as a role on the USPTA Northern Board of Directors. Brandon’s dedication also shines through his work with Harding High School’s tennis program and his competitive spirit as a former captain of the Hamline University Men’s Tennis Team.
Brandon’s excellence in coaching and sportsmanship has been widely recognized. He has received multiple MIAC Sportsmanship Awards, the SPPS City Conference Coach of the Year award, and the SPUT Rookie Coach of the Year award. Additionally, his family has been honored as the USTA Northern Family of the Year. Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and Sociology and is an Elite Professional certified by the USPTA, underscoring his commitment to both the educational and athletic aspects of tennis.




Kelsey Kuether
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Kelsey provides strategic leadership for Cross Court’s finances. Kelsey has over a decade of experience in finance, project management, and human resources. Kelsey is highly collaborative across all functions to support Cross Court’s vision. When she is not helping the team at Cross Court with administrative functions, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and watching Grey’s Anatomy. While Kelsey hasn’t spent as much time on the court as the rest of our team, she has learned the game through osmosis since it is all her family talks about and still has the biggest forehand in St. Paul.


Dave Kuether
Adult Program Director
Dave Kuether is a Certified Teaching Professional through both the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) and the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association). Dave has been coaching adults in Minneapolis and Saint Paul dating back to 2015, while also heading the tennis program at Spring Lake Park High School. Coach Dave is always reaching, looking to develop and motivate a players game regardless of their level of play or abilities. When Dave is not coaching in Minnesota, he enjoys spending time on the Gulf Coast of Florida.




Blake Kuether
Tennis Professional
Blake began his coaching career in 2015, and has since worked at various tennis organizations in the roles of Program Coordinator, Coach Trainer, and High Performance Coach while also spending time coaching the Boys and Girls tennis teams at Spring Lake Park High School and Harding High School. Blake also competed as a member of the Men’s Tennis Team at Hamline University, all while studying for his Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Education. When Blake is not coaching tennis, he spends his time playing music and traveling the country with his band Heart to Gold.


Tou Ger Xiong
Tennis Professional
Tou Ger Xiong began his journey as a tennis professional when he joined a nonprofit organization named Saint Paul Urban Tennis (SPUT) as an assistant coach in 2017. He soon transitioned forward to a head coach position, and received the Launched Leader Award for his rapid growth as a coach and as a leader within the SPUT community. Since then, Tou Ger continues to lead as a head coach and as a trainer for many new coaches in the Twin Cities. During his time in college, Tou Ger graduated from Hamline University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and competed on the school team. Appointed by the coaches, he captained the team for two years. Born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Tou Ger continues to help and lead his local tennis community. Tou Ger is thrilled to apply his knowledge of tennis and exercise science to further develop young athletes and equip them with life skills.




Serenity Vang
Design and Events Intern
Serenity Vang has been involved in the Twin Cities tennis community her whole life. During her time as a coach at Saint Paul Urban Tennis, she was earned the Rookie Coach of the Year award in 2022. Serenity is currently attending school at Harding Senior High School in Saint Paul, where she is the captain of the girls tennis team. In addition to training with the Chimera Junior Team Tennis program this summer, Serenity is excited to make fun and entertaining content for Cross Court.
